SAS question

I know some one who has an older f150 thats pretty much ready to die...what i was wondering if i bought it, would it be possible to use the axels and other parts off it to do a SAS on my truck?

yup.....

if it is '80-'96, the axle under the front is a TTB just like the '83-'97 Rangers.....

it is a TTB axle......ANY Ford 1/2 ton truck (ie: F-150) from '80-'96 had the Dana 44 TTB axle......even some 3/4 ton trucks (ie: F-250) had the Dana 60 leaf sprung TTB as the front axle...
