Skid Plates.
some come with a "skid plate" if you can call that worthless pile of sheet metal a skid plate.. the t-case and gas tank skid are half way decent, but the front ones are a false sense of security.
a snow pile tin canned mine lol i still need to take it off and beat it back
some rangers come with an "off road package" mine did. it sits higher than the typical 4wd models, and come with skid plates. i say they are better than nothing tho... i bought the front skid plate for my truck from super lift.... they make a really nice one, it looks cool, and is really strong!, i honestly jack my truck up with it... the downfall is price.

excluding 08+ with there low ride 4x4 lol....
so they do sit a little taller but nothing like the
high rider package b4
I wouldn't waste your money. They are super thin. Spend $30 on some plate, and quickly bend one up. The stock one won't stop a pebble bouncing down the highway.
I would prefer the stock carbon steel. I don't need something crazy strong. Mainly something to keep the crap out.
I found the part number I was looking for anyways. 1L5Z-5B018-AA. Carbon steel front skid. $210 from 1stfordparts. I think not.
