so im thinkin about a 3in bl

does anyone know anything that would or might go wrong with putting a bl on my 2000 4x4 i mean i get the basics of how to do it the only thing im worried about are the bumpers because with the new mounts they give you its not really a bumper anymore its just for looks basicly in my opinion so i
wana hear everyones opinion and some help would be nice

and o yea i forgot my truck has the tow hooks on the front would that be a problem with doing the body lift if i end up wanting to lift the bumper to get rid of the gaps

The bumper brackets are strong, I stand on my bumpers all the time and have never had any issues. Just not strong enough to tow a trailer with....which really isn't a good idea either way! ll

I might be wrong, but I think you have to remove the tow hooks, probably relocate them.

I used a summit racing body lift on my '98, it was about $130 and it worked perfect!

move the tow hooks and your bumper brakets are fine. Like already mentioned dont haul anything using the bumper, thats what reciever hitches are for
