Lift spindle need longer shocks?

Do I need longer shocks in the front if i get spindles? I know if i get chevy drop schackles i need longer shocks in the back. Right? Do they need to be "longer"?

Spindles dont need longer shocks, they just move the snout down 3" and dont change the amount of suspension travel. In the rear you will need longer shocks.

I need longer shocks on mine they are MAXED out like crazy! lol
