Starting Research on SAS

Ok I know most of you with your sfa, took months and months not only building, but researching as well. Well this is where I'm starting. I run just a plain old bodylift right now and love it. However if I was ever going to think about running anything bigger than 33's I would rather just sas than waste money on an ifs lift imo.

I've looked so far at a few sas buildups here but no offense there arent that many...whose else has some buildup threads? I've seen the black ranger with 35x10.5 boggers, zabeards, the black fx4 i think that ran leafs at first...probably a few others i can't remember off the top of my head.

Weird thing is i have a set of leafs right now, because I was going to sas my old s-10 and had went out and bought a set of rancho 4044's. So I do have those sitting here. I am in no means ready to start since I have school left for a while but this is where my research gathering is starting let me know of anymore buildups on rangers if you have any. Thanks guys.

thanks snipe for the links....

I am gonna really look at 5speedin's buildup because of the leaves and whatnot for now. A few more questions: because im too lazy to search and go measure right now, what is a stock 98's wms-wms? I'm guessing around 60"? And, about the whole d30...i know some shun away from that but who knows I just may look into it as a starter axle. I prob wont even run larger than 35" tires however they will be heavy such as some boggers or maybe the 36" tsl.

Rangers 98 and newer come with a rack and pinion.

If you had a pre 98 ranger you could use the stock steering box.
