Steering wheel shake

Steering wheel shake

Hey guys my 2000 steering wheel will start to shake around 60km h but worse if i hit a small bump. Started tonight after i got stuck during the day. Did not do this after i got pulled out started about 4 hours later

"Got stuck" covers alot of ground

If you went into a ditch you could have bent something, or being "pulled out" could have bent something as well.

You can jack up front wheels and move them up/down, left/right by hand to see where the movement is and on which wheel

But you will need to take it to alignment shop in any case so...........they will do that testing as well

didnt bend anything in the front end im pretty sure i just bottomed out on my frame

Well outside of mud being caked onto the inside of the wheel a shimmy at speed means something got loose/bent

You could do a paint stripe across each front tire and check it daily to see which wheel is off center/wobbling, paint will wear unevenly.
And paint will wear off completely in a week depending on miles driven

hasent done it yet today so i think it was just mud frozen on the wheel
