Tacoma rims on a ranger?
All Rangers used 5 lug × 4.5 bolt pattern
But there are other things to consider, 4x4s need larger hole in the center on front wheels
And then there is Off-set, distance from wheels hub to inside of wheels rim this can cause problems with brake rotors and tire rubbing on frame or fenders.

2008 Tacoma 4x4 used 6 lugs at 5.5" so no they won't fit Ranger of any year
The 2008 2WD used 5 x 4.5" which would fit but.................center hole or off-set would need to be checked
I find it odd Toyota did that, same size truck but different wheel patterns????

maybe the 4x4 is a world universal size thats a bit beefier for jungles, deserts, extreme daily off road. VS 2wd would not belong in any of those territories so maybe used someone elses axles.
