un-even suspension
un-even suspension
I just noticed on my fx4 that my right rear side is about an inch and a half lower than the the left. Could this be because the right shock is shot or what could be the problem? Any help would be great!
Mine is the same way, the newer Rangers are known for that problem. You could even it out with an uneven crank of the torsions, but I wouldn't recommend that. I just deal with it, same with a lot of people I know, it's just something they didn't do right at the factory.
if the sag is noticable and you are under warranty I would take it in
my truck sits square - as from the factory higher in the back than front
also shocks really do little if anything to lift your truck
FX4 is held up by the torsion bars in the front and leaf springs in the back

Ya my bro had a 2001 tacoma and he had the same problem. it comes from towing or from weight which torks harder on the one side and wears the springs unevenly. he took it back to toyota and they replaced the leaf packs from a 4 to a 5 pack I think.
