where to get longer u bolts

where to get longer u bolts

Im putting in bigger blocks (3in) but i dont know what size u bolt to get or where to get it. any help on where to get them or what size i need?

local spring shop will make you quality ubolts or at a local autoparts place you can buy the 3" block kit and just use the u-bolts (the blocks are cheap aluminum)

It depends on what axle you have. A 7.5 and 8.8 28 spline have a 2.75" O.D. axle tube while the 31 spline 8.8 has 3.25" O.D. axle tube

Size of stock ubolt depends on axle and if its 4x4 or not (has rear block or not). If your going to have u bolts made, just take them one of your old ones.

Yeah, autozone sells just U bolts, and the 3" kit with U bolts for like $20. Just take one of your old bolts in with you and get new ones an inch longer.

Check your phone book for a local spring shop, they will sell you good quality stuff.
