WMS to WMS measurement for 98+ IFS

Does anyone have a measurement of the wheel mount surface to wheel mount surface of a 98+ front end? I am considering using a frame clip that I have on my 88 but need to narrow it to fit and need measurements to see if it is reasonable to do so. I just measured my 88 and it is 57" wms to wms at full droop. I am aiming for 55" wms to wms. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Welcome to the forum

Have a look here: https://therangerstation.com/tech_li...ex-axles.shtml

Then in the dana 28/35 and dana SLA for the measurements

1983-1992 had the narrower width axles, 1993-2011(wider body style) was the wider width, but just an inch on each side

I see now that I forgot to specify 2wd in my first post. I haven't been able to find any exact measurements for the coil spring IFS on the 98+ trucks. I have found track width dimensions but that depends on wheel offset so I can't accurately compare. Thanks for the reply.
