04 sport trac rims & leather seats on a ranger?
hey guys, after tons of searching on here, I have a few questions....more confirmation really.
parts are from an 04 sport trac
my truck is an 07 ranger extended cab 4x4
first off, will these 16" aluminum rims fit on my 07 ranger? bolt pattern is the same (5x4.5), i'm more worried about the hub bore... are both 70.3?
next, the heated leather power seats from the st, should fit in my ranger?
and just power and ground for the power option.... what about the heated option, what's needed.
also, do you think $350 is a good deal for the 4 rims and the leather seatsas a package deal?

with the sensor deactivated, it will only prevent the passenger side from deploying right?
has anyone ever swapped that weight sensor into non-ranger seats? surely it can be done, it would have to be a basic switch, completing a circut... correct me if iI'm wrong, but should be able to be done.

I'm really just wondering this, my old dodge neon had a passenger seat sensor, and how it worked was basicly when weight was applied, (human or 2 bags of groceries lol ) it would just make contact inside a pressure pad, basicly 2 wires going in, when connected (due to added weight) the pad compressed, compleating the circut. My thoughts are, if the wire harnes going to the seat from the SRS modual was connected, (soldered together to complete the circut loop) the system should stay operational.

some systems (not sure if rangers are or not) are designed to deploy at different rates depending on how much weight (a slower rate for smaller, or younger people, and faster for larger people, etc.) i would imagine that would be determined by resistance. you could take your passenger seat apart and see if you can remove the weight sensor and install in new seat.
