backspacing question?

i know on my 08 i have to a certain amount of b.s. on a 15" rim for it to fit. so what b.s. and offset do i need to get. im want to get 33-12.50-15 on my truck. b/c 16" wheels have terrible b.s. I want a somewhat deep dish look w/o them sticking out to far. and if any body could post up some pics of 15's w/ 33's on a 06-08 ranger that i could see how the wheels look, that would great.

thanks, bob

I have 15x8 with 3.75 backspace on my '07 4x4.. no problems.
I have 31" tires on them, it's not exactly what you're looking for but here's a pic to give you an idea how the wheels look.

WOW! Those are the first wheels i've look at that the manufacturer's website DOESN'T have any good info on them....like backspace, weight, etc....never seen that before.

I havn't heard of any 15" aluminum wheels getting in the way of the front calipers....it's the steel wheels that have that problem. Just giving you a heads up.

The backspace dimension is dependent primarily on the nominal rim width and the offset. Because of flange thickness differences, the actual measured backspace can vary slightly from one type of wheel to another but these numbers will be very close:

7" width and -27mm offset has a backspace of about 2 15/16".
8" width and -27mm offset has a backspace of about 3 7/16".
10" width and -27mm offset has a backspace of about 4 7/16".

yea since they went w/ bigger brakes in 03 i guess it all just depends on the b.s. b/c i called american racing about 15" chambers and they said the 15s would not fit
