backspacing on these wheels
say what you awnt i am ordering one of these 4 on EBAY yes EBAY. this i show i purchased my set of motegi's for my altima and saved TONS for awesome quality.
i guess the only thing stopping me wouldbe them not fitting. i have an 04 4x2 4.0 edge
i reallly want 16's but i cant find a decent tire under 150 so it most likely will be the 15's
i read up on backspacing and checked other sites but i dont get it. i have to buy new wheels too cause i am getting new fabtech spindles.
They are all ion wheels which i duno but i think for the price they are DAMN HOTT wheels
which of these 4 will fit with the fabtech spindles?

The third and fourth links are for wheels that won't fit the Ranger bolt circle, so they are out.
The wheels in your first two links have -27mm offset (stock is +12). This will push the centerline of the wheel/tire out by 39mm or about 1.5".
Since the rim is one inch wider than the factory Ranger rim, the outer lip of the aftermarket wheel will be about 2" farther out than a factory Ranger wheel and the inner rim will be about 1" farther out.
The backspacing on these aftermarket wheels is about 3.5" compared to factory Ranger 4.5", meaning that you should have less interference possibility on the spindle side of the aftermarket wheel, all else being equal. You will have to determine if this backspacing is adequate for the Fabtech spindles when using a 15" wheel.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Backspacing is measured from the innermost wheel lip to the mounting surface (Reference measurement #5 below):
Offset is distance from the centerline of the wheel to the mounting surface (Reference measurement #7 below).
Negative offset means that the wheel's mounting surface is closer to the inner rim of the wheel. Positive offset means it is closer to the outer rim of the wheel. The diagram below shows positive offset:
Backspacing on a factory Ranger wheel is about 4.5":
wow thanx the actual pic actually helped get it withthe factory wheel....so with the fabtech spindles ur saying they will or wont fiti didn't get it. and i know fabtech spindles make your wheels sit out a little more so does this mean they will sit out alot because of the spindle and the backspace?
btw your awesome so far!
okay wait i just checked on fabtech and it says wheels up to 3 3/4 backspace so i guess both will fit.
i guess now i can ask what you recommend on my truck
i was thinking the one with te bead ring cause i can get the red beadring and match the truck although the other ones are sweeeet
