BFG Rugged Trail

Any opinions on these? LT265/75/16 10 ply...will the ride suck?

With a 10 ply its going to rode a little rougher because its a harder tire

when my brother had his Ranger he had 10 ply tires on it and it rode like crap.

I had them in as 235/75/16 stock. They were a good tire, but for some reason loved nails! LOL only tires I have had that picked up nails more then once.

10 ply is a really heavy tire.

I don't even want a 10 ply tire on my half ton. I don't think I would pay for the rugged trails either. If money is being spent, there are better tires IMO

even at a lower psi it won't ride well.

Well I picked up a used set but now I don't think I want to use them. I guess I can resell them

You could use them and they would be bearable. But i agree with the others 10ply (load E) is a bit overkill. 6ply (load C) is the best for a ranger.

They are nothing to speak of as far as the tire themselves goes. A ton of F-150's come with them from the factory.
