I have what I believe to be a 98 XL 4x4, which I figure may be the same as an XLT except for some options.
Is it safe to use the XLT 4x4 guidelines for the wheel / tire discussions?

i got a 94 ranger, 4wd with a 3 in body lift, will i have any problems fitting 33x12.5 pro comp mud terrains on pro comp 15x10 wheels. will cutting be required and will the width be a problem rubbing on the inside while turning?
Thanks for the guide...
Just put 265/75-R16 Toyo Open Country A/Ts (31.7in dia) on my 2000 4x4 Ranger. Plenty of clearance front and rear, but minor rubbing of the plastic liner in the top of the wheel well at full compression. My front suspension is pretty soft, so I cranked the torsion bars 3 turns each. I expect that this might help with the occasional rub I'm getting while offroading. Aside from that, clearance is fine to the front, back, and inside of the tire.

Thanks for the info guys. Today I put 31-10.50-15 BFGs on my 94 4x4 with 1.125" spring spacers in the front. It leveled out the truck and made it look like it is 4wd. I didn't want to go too big because it is a daily driver, so this is perfect for me at this time. I'll have to get a picture up. That would be great if we had pics of some of the tire sizes on the trucks. Thanks again!
You will need a 4" Superlift and a 3" Body Lift to run 36s. You might still need to trim fenders afterward, I don't know for sure.

Ha ha! I was whacking chunks off my fenders to put the Bushwacker cutouts on and my neighbor was like "What the ..... are you doing?" He'd already seen me do the SAS and he thinks I'm totally nuts...well, he's right...but you know...
Im trying to see if anyone knows if i can put a 32x11.5x15 tire on a 15x8 rim and without having to lift the truck. If anyone knows whats the widest and tallest tire i can put on a stock 2004 ford ranger edge without having to lift the truck.
