Cragar Soft 8 Question

Hey guys, I was just looking on the Summit Racing website because I was planning on ordering some 15x8 cragar soft 8's but when I brought it up I realized their are a few different sizes of the 15x8 that have different backspacing and bolt pattern spacing. Which should I go with?

I have a 2002 xlt 4x4 that i am putting a 3 inch body lift on before I get the tires. I plan on running either a 32x11.50 r15 or a 33x12.50 r15.

I have no idea and don't know if it matters. Maybe it will make the tires rub? or maybe it's just personal preference based on style and how far it will make the wheels stick out? I just wanna be sure before I drop the cash on them.

You need 15x8 with a 5x4.5" bolt pattern. Backspacing anywhere between 4.00 - 3.50
If you have a Body lift, you an run 33's without a problem.

15x8 with 4.5" backspacing (I believe thats what they sell). And your bolt pattern is 5x4.5.

4.5" backspacing is what stock is, i bet that will rub with a 12.5. get 4" or lower backspacing.

i have 3.313" backspacing so the 4-3.5" stated above is wrong.

So I think I'm gonna go with the 15x8 4.5 inch bolt pattern 4 inch backspacing. I don't think the Cragars have any with less than 4 inch backspacing. Hopefully there is no rub.

will the center caps I have on my stock rims work on the soft 8's? I feel like I've seen some people doing that.

sweet that works out perfect then, It's so stupid how they don't include the center caps with some rims.

I have the Summit Racing 85 Black 8 Series Wheels (Pretty much the exact same thing as the cragar soft 8s) 15x8 with 5x4.5 bolt pattern and 3.75" backspacing. At full lock my tires do not rub even when they are stuffed up inside the wheel well.

Really? that's good to know because I was looking to get the same tires you are running on your truck. I'll have to check to see what the lowest backspacing the soft 8's come in. I think it's 4''. i'm interested in the ones you have just for the lower backspacing and the guaranteed no rubbing. plus you're right, they are basically the same rim.

Hey! Im new to the site and to the lifted world! Anyways I have a 02 ranger xlt 4x4 i just order the same rims you have. I guess but I just wanna make sure you didn't have any problem with the wheels? they bolted right up? I noticed the center bore is about 13mms larger than the stock wheels. Will that be an issue?
