Getting my new tires
Getting my new tires
well after 55000 miles on these R/TS (Right now they are redneck slicks) I think they have had it and im going in friday to get my new set of bridgestone dueler a/t revo 265/70/16's. this will be nice now when it rains I should get traction now, and now have to worry about being all over the road due to the locker
Eric get 265/75/16s thats what i ended up getting and it saved me money, the 265/70/16 are a rare size so they cost more. the 265/75/16 are a little bigger than stock but its not too bad. but if you want to keep the stock size stick with the 265/70/16.
they get great traction on snow/rain/slush had them for 4000 miles now and they work great.

yeah i got the 75's miss type. no i can not make it. had to take a couple of days off last week for the flu... i got a day off next month then i got more vacation put in for may.... i want to come back out to the east coast again really bad maybe another time this year.
well I got them only thing is they make a little contact when on a full turn but that doesn't matter. and I have cranked my Tbars up too. Haven't noticed anything yet they ride smooth so far I need to find a cornfield or something to test them out in the mud....
I had RT/S on my truck (in both stock size and the 265/70R17s) and I completely hated them! Terrible in the rain, terrible in the dirt, terrible pretty much in every condition. The Revos review very well, you should be happy with them! My dad has them (albeit in a smaller 245/70R16 I believe) and is very pleased with them on his 98 Ranger Off-Road.

The AT Revo's are good -- but not as good as the Cooper S/T's. Pinecone (Ryan) has them and they wouldn't climb the hill in 2WD that I could in 2WD. They're a bit too much A/T for my taste, but a good tire none-the-less.
well after I got my locker I noticed that I could go through more places then when I had the open diff. on my stock tires. which had hardly any tread. like I was able to go through this swamp water mud it was nasty and before the locker I barley made it through in 4wd after the locker I was able to make it through in 2wd maybe to combination of the two locker and the tires will work together.... just need to find a mud hole hummmm.........
Oh, they'll be fine. They just need more void in the tread for some things. It all seems to depend on what you do. For some things, more void is WORSE. You just have to experiment and find out what works best, for sure.
A locker would be nice! I'm still running the LS.
