I'm looking into buying these tires on craigslist and the guy wants $550 for the 4 tires. He says that the tires have less than 6000 miles on them and are all in good shape. What do you guys think:
1. What percentage tread would you say is left on them
2. is it a good deal?
3. how long will they last me?

i like them, looks like theres only like 50% tread from the pics but i dont know without seeing them. the price seems a little high, maybe try to talk him down closer to 400.

yea the guy wouldnt budge from his original price, and i'd like to know where i could get them for that price new

 

never trust oh about 6000 miles or 80% take a tire gauge with you and look up the specs before hand so you know what they are new..

I've never paid more than 400 for second hand tires unless rims were included, then I might pay more.
