Jeep Wrangler 15x8 (Canyon?) Wheels on a 2000 2wd Ranger
I've scoured the forums and haven't been able to find a concrete answer. Just looking to find out if Wrangler Canyon wheels (15x8) wlll fit on my 2000 XL 2.5L RWD. My current rims are stock 15x7 7-spoke. Both rims are 5x4.5 lug pattern.

From what I'm reading online, the center bore size of jeep wranglers of that time period is 71.5 and for my Ranger it's 70.5, so I should have 0.5mm of clearance, but I also read on some forums that the center bore of the jeep wheels might need to be drilled out as it will be too small. I'm just trying to understand how this could be possible? Do I have the wrong specs? The rims are a good deal locally but it's a 3 hour drive round trip and I don't want to drive out there to pick up rims that won't work.
