LMAO. I found this thread because I'm considering these tires in either stock size (245/75/16) or slightly larger (265/75/16). I ended up getting some amusement as well.

Anyone have any real good personal reviews on this tire on their Ranger? How many miles have you put on it? Which load rating did you get? I just scored a cheap set of 5 spoke 16's that I want to clean up and then mount some good winter tires on, and I'm seriously considering these.

Silverfox, how do you like them? Ride good? Handling in snow? Road noise?

@XYZrealisation

If Goodyear is crappy explain to me why my Goodyear duratracs have been on my truck for about 25 to 30k and they have no irregular wear nor have I ever had problems with them. Dose that mean that I love Goodyear, not at all. As for Goodyear being made in China your wrong there one of just a few that are made in America. Your not the only one on this site that works or has worked for a tire store. Most tire problems are caused by improper installation by the tech, I.e improper lubrication of the bead, high amount of pressure used to set the bead, and the most common and scary a bead being ripped by the tech due to improper install.

LOL. Why would you dig that argument up again? The argument is a month old. Let it die.

They ride good alot better then my stock tires did.There is some road noise but its not loud just gotta keep them rotated and balance.As far as snow handling i live in the desert we average about 6.5" of precipitation a year so no snow.However i have had them in the snow twice.

Empty bed,no chains no fun slide everywhere thought i was going to die.
Bed full of snow,no chains not bad did slide backwards down a paved driveway.
Bed full of snow,with chains,truck drove like it was on dry pavment.

Keep in mind im from california.We (mostly) dont drive in snow alot.And the snow i was in was probley nothing compared to what you deal with.

I had to just bump this thread... I was looking for this tire and some reviews.

Instead, I got some entertainment. XYZ sure isn't too smart. Everyone wasn't bashing the "goodyear is crap" idea. Everyone is pretty much bashing "I am the all-knowing-king-of-tires-and-everything-I-say-is-law attitude."

lol
