Tires for 2 wheel drive edge

hello all

I have a 2003 ranger edge 2wd. I will be needing new tires very soon. I want all terrain this time around. below is what i'm looking at. if you have these tires now or in the past....please advise. (this is my first set of AT). Base my decision on sound, wear and most of all looks.

1) Nexan Roadian mt
2) Hercules Terra Trac a/t2
3) Mastercraft Courser axt
4) Toyo Open country a/t2
(toyo was $150 more than the rest, so this would be last)

thanks for your time

Toyo is a good tire, well worth the extra money IMO. I don't plan on using anything but toyos on every vehicle I own

Never had a set of any of those but one thing I will say:
AT tires can be noisy on the highway, the wider the gaps in the tread the better they are off road at gripping and the louder they will be above 50MPH, it is the air in the treads being forced out as tire contacts road.

So you are doing the right thing in asking about the ones you have seen.

Expensive yet you will surely like the road performance of the Toyo's. These tires wear well also.

Have you looked into the Falken Wild Peak (or Rocky Mountain, same tire)? They're priced pretty reasonably and are a great A/T tire. Great street performance and relatively quiet on the highway. Guaranteed for 50k miles.
