Torsion bar problem

Well today I tried cranking my torsion bars on my truck. I followed every step on how to do it and I have cranked the screw both ways until they wouldn't twist no more and they wouldnt go all the way up. What does this mean and what do I need to do??

If the bolt is tightened all the way and you still can't get more than 2" of front lift then your torsion bars have sagged too much and need to be replaced

I've never done it, but I can't imagine it's very difficult

It's not difficult but you just need to be careful when you remove them as there will be a lot of tension.

This.

But I've noticed if you undo the upper shock nut and the sway bar link, the suspension has more room to droop, and it seems to take some of the tension off of the bars, more so than if you left everything together.
