Yeah thats what I figured. It seems like the Toyo's are hit and miss though. You get people that love them like yourself and my uncle and then you get people that really hate them lol.

I've only read positive reviews about their wet pavement traction until I came to this forum. Its very strange.

And Toyo owns Nitto and they use a higher quality compound than the TG's yet no one here ever says anything bad about the TG's. I have no experience with the TG's, but I do with the BFG AT's and after owning 2 sets of them, all I can say is BFG AT's FTMFL unless its dry out
I'm going by MY experience of them....you're going by YOUR experience with them. And they differ. Could possibly be how the local DOT takes care of your roads vs. my roads. Could be the weather I experience and you experience. Both big variables if you ask me.

And I did read your earlier post before I made any posts here.

Could be that a lot of people who buy them are replacing worn out factory tires which are almost always crap. In that case, they would seem like an improvement.

And that's all we can do is go by our experience with them. Thus that makes the title of this thread untrue. And we all know the BFG Rugged Trail is the worst wet weather tire ever made LOL

You seem to have your panties all wadded up because some people don't like these tires? Are they your personal design or something? Geez.

Yep. They are all opinions based on current and previous experience, different vehicles, different uses, different climate and terrain. I remember mine being decent on dry roads and not bad in snow, but they hydroplaned a lot. They were also only my second set of tires and better than what I had before. I can say that every set of tires I have run since then performed better all around though.
My comment about replacing factory tires is because most vehicles I see them on are stock vehicles driven by soccer moms or people towing trailers, etc with stock sized tires. I don't see many on modified vehicles where the owners would expect more out of a set of tires, if that makes any sense.

I have never owned the BFG A/T, but I have seen that they turn into slicks in the slightest amounts of mud. I would imagine they will hydroplane a lot in standing water since it doesn't look like there is much of anywhere for the water to go.
And to be honest, I had BFG rugged trails that came on my F150 and they weren't half bad for the short amount of time that I had them.

Are you kidding me?? Thats exaclty the point that goes against you calling them "awful POS tires". Just because YOU had a bad experience with them doesnt give YOU the right to label them **** tires when they are great tires for ME in MY area.

If I were to title a thread BFG A/T WORST TIRE EVER!!! I would get the **** flamed out of me so I dont understand how you can call someone out for defending a tire they have had good experiences with.

Yeah I don't understand it. Some people hate the KM2s but I don't get all butt hurt about it.
Not everyone is going to like the same tires.

Lol...im not getting butt hurt about it, I'm simply trying to give my positive feedback to the tire which some of you have labeled as a **** tire.
I will agree with Brian that this is certainly an upgrade from the ****ty Dunlops that where on my truck so maybe that is why I like them. W/E

I have Nitto TG's and they are phucking bomb. It is currently snowing here in Denver and there is about 10 inches of snow on the ground and they maul snow. I have a off road area behind my work and in the deep snow and mud they did great today.

In the rain I never hydroplane.

I have no complains with these tires what so ever.

Something to consider is what PSI you run your tires at. When I got the toyo's put on the they inflated them to somewhere around 41-43 psi, and they ran great. Now with the winter on the way psi dropped to around 36 in each and I notice them spinning when I stop and go in wet conditions like I am burning out.

true.

I really don't care anymore. This debate is stupid and neither 'side' is gonna convince the other side to see it their way cause we have contrasting experiences. So I'll just leave the thread with this. I nearly got into a 1-vehicle wreck on my BFGs in the rain. Adios

I LOL at you. You proved my point exactly. You labeled them as great tires for YOU in YOUR area...I labeled them as **** tires for ME in MY area. By me buying tires from a tire store and running them on my daily driven truck(which this site is devoted to my model of truck) that sees all kinds of weather, I believe it gives me every right to label them however the hell I want to...just like you have every right to call them great tires for YOU. You sound very hypicritical. Poor guy, you must not understand anything about differing opinions...or reviews....or differing experiences on a product or service....

I've read your comment...And I'm not going respond to it in a way that encourages more arguing (what I thought the "Site Moderators" were supposed to do) so lets just leave it at the fact that we both have a different opinion and it's too bad they didnt work out for you.
