Hey I have a 2003 Ranger Edge 2WD with 235/75R15 it has a 410 open diff in the rear and I want to put 31x10.5 on the truck with crager 8's. I know you can program the pcm at ford to except the bigger tires so the speedo and mileage are not off, my question is what will this do to my gearing and will it affect my low end torque and will it affect anything else. And if you guys think it's worth it how wide should the wheels be right now stock I believe they are 15x7. Any input would be great, Thanks

 

I wouldn't be too concerned with the gearing... my truck came stock with 31s and 4.10s. Just go for some 15x8" wheels and then if you decide to lift it later you can fit 33x12.50s on them as well!

hey i got a question. ive been thinking a lot lately on what tire size to put on my truck next. i was told by someone that at stock height i can get 3 inch larger tires than the stock tires. if i add like a 3 inch body lift what size tires could i fit on it then??
