Truck not starting
I was driving on the freeway and my truck died out and did not want to start again. During the days leading to this I noticed my truck acting crappy trying to start it. I thought had something to do with my fuel pump? I checked the relay and fuses and everything was fine. I checked the line by the engine and there was no fuel pressure at all. I replaced the fuel pump and now there is pressure but my truck is still not starting. I'm stumped. 2006 2.3l

Do you know how much pressure there is? If I recall correctly it's to be somewhere around the 60 PSI mark.
Also, was it a motorcraft or aftermarket pump? Aftermarket pumps can be dead or be faulty straight from the start. Motorcraft pumps are pretty much unheard of in this respect.
Any leaks? Fuel smell? How long as it been since the fuel filter has been replaced?
If none of these check out, purchase some starting fluid and spray it into the throttle body as the engine is cranking. If it starts with the starting fluid then fuel is our problem. If it doesn't start, then you've lost spark. AKA, a 50/50 test. As you know, the engine requires both fuel and spark to do what it does. If we can eliminate one of them, that will make the job a lot easier.
