03 Ranger Edge 3.0L Coolant Leak
My truck started leaking coolant and I can't tell where it's coming from. I'm thinking the top of the timing cover, but it's really hard to see without removing stuff.
Any help or input would be greatly appreciated. These are the best pictures I could get:
Coolant dripping
Top of timing cover. Underneath alternator.
Closer view of between alternator and timing cover.

The timing cover is a common place on the 3 litre for it to leak, and that is where yours is leaking, you can see it in your second photo.
When removing the timing cover, don't damage the pan gasket _ make sure the pan gasket is clean and use a little RTV on both sides when reassembling.
The biggest problem is getting the clutch fan off on the end of the water pump, it's a left hand thread.
Use a RTV on the woodruff key on the crank pulley when reassembling.
Take lots of photos, many bolts of different sizes and lengths.
If the crank shaft position sensor bolt won't come, just leave it, it's small and they like to twist off.
