Yes, and it'll probably sound like poo-poo too.

01xltranger4x4,

Are you and zabeard running the same exhaust set-up? Borla Pro-EX with daul tailpipes right? What was the part # of your muffler? SI/SO or SI/DO? I had a Flowmaster 40 series on my '99 Silverado and it sounded like junk. I my own opinion, Flows only sound good on V-8 muscle cars.

I should have a Level II in my garage soon. Not many in my area. Just tring to get a few mod ideas going until then.

mark has what im going to have within the month: pro xs 2.25" si/so center/offset y-pipe to duals straight out the back....zabeard doesnt have duals but he does have a borla. Not sure if zach's borla is the same model as mark's.

Zach has my 1st borla, its a longer muffler. (si-so) Quiet, good performance.

I have a si-so muffler, with a Y pipe after the muffler, splitting it into duals. The muffler i run is a center/offset Pro-Xs Borla.....Ya i gained, SOUND, and PERFORMANCE....

ya mine is marks old muffler, i dont htink i will ever use another muffler agian. i really like mine, i have the tips i nthe garage for the duals out the back, just dont want to spend the money on it right now.

mark has the borla pro-xs and i have the borla xl, the pro-xs is louder than mine that is about it.

i have had the flowmaster and magnaflow also, best one i have had is the borla, id go back to the magnaflow if i found a good deal, but prolly not a flowmaster.

mark has a sound clip of his linked in his sig. That sound clip is from when it was new, gets deeper and better when it gets broken in.

Don't dump it.....

your exhaust gases will go EVERYWHERE but safely out the side or back. It shouldn't pass inspection that way either... or at least it wont here in VA, and our emmission laws aren't stricked either.

Pay somebody to do it right, or get a cat-back system. Its worth the money, safety, and performance.
