Well it is in the 4.0 forum so I think it is safe to say he is referring to 4.0 SOHC engines of the 02 and 03 vintage. I know the 02 4.0 is a EGR engine and I think the 03 has no EGR valve. There may be a way to get around that but I would guess the computers are different. I don't know if there are any other differences.

The computers are different and the wiring is a bit different
The EGR differences as well.
How much is the 03 engine going for?
You can always bolt the EGR to the 03 engine and use all the wiring from the 02. Its the same basic block and design.
I have an 03 with all the wiring and a 2003 PCM, I need to get rid of it!

that is the only difference that i know of. a tuner can tune the EGR out...
Do you have it tuned out now? Since you are supercharged I would be surprised if the computer is using it anyway. Being the tuner turned it off. You would have to verify with them. Otherwise from what I know the engine is the same and everything should swap fairly easy.

that way its basically a plug and play. The EGR goes from the intake (supercharger to the manifold)
Also there may be injector differences but i am assuming you swapped those as well since you are supercharged.

holy crap...totally forgot to text ya back JER!!
Anyway...
Use your existing harness and EGR system. 03's just have a block plate and a delete exhaust manifold. Make pigtail changes as-needed(injectors, dpfe, etc). Use existing PCM. Otherwise, good to go. Shoot me a text...accidently deleted the ones you sent me. We'll get that thing running in a dayish.

I blew a head gasket about 2 weeks ago and I just figured i'd get a new engine since taking the other one apart and replacing everything would be more expensive. And with the old one out I'll be able to beef it up and have a really strong motor, top and bottom end. Hey tre p.m me your number, i got a new phone and didn't have any old #'s.
