Dynamat Extreme
How much Dynamat Extreme is needed to silence door rattle in a supercab? Would the 10x10 inch speaker kit be enough for an above average system? It seems that if it wasn't enough they wouldn't sell it. I understand to soundproof the cab, which I'm not, you're looking at maximum coverage.

Does it come in a roll or a stack of squares? Any colors on the packaging I can look for? I've looked on the shelves and in the overstock, but still no luck. Oh well I'll keep checking.
Dave, I've found it online, just would rather not pay shipping, because it's probably more than local tax, at least because I want ALOT of it.
Figure about 150-200 sq. foot to adequately do the entire cab? I've got pennies that dance in my cupholders at times, so everything else rattles. Plus that annoying wind noise from the mirrors.

Dynamat is anywhere from 6-10 bucks a square foot.
Peel and seal is around 1 dollar a square foot.

What a rip off. $39? I can get the same thing at Lowe's for $13 or 50 cents a sq foot. And it comes in the same 1 foot size, just like the roofing material. How coincidental.

i used dynamat extreme to cover my entire interior, and ended up spending over $300.00 in the end...(i think... it was like 2+ years ago)
it wasn't a waste, in my opinion, because i am happy with the results and there is no odor, like there is with regular dynamat...
some of the stuff at lowes and home depot is probably just as good. i just didn't know about it back then... i wish i hadn't spent what i had, but its over...
oh yeah, and i got it for like 10% above cost, cuz i had a buddy that worked at a sound shop... normally it would have been alot more..
