V-6 engine swap

Hello, new to this forum, hope you can help. I have a 94 Ranger with the enimic 4 cylinder, 5 speed combination. I have an opportunity to pick up a 97 3.0 V-6 with and automatic transmission. Does anyone know how difficult this swap would be. I am worried mostly about the electrical and the shifter for the automatic. Please help if you have any ideas.

Thanks

honestly its not worth the effort just for the 3.0 unless you just want an automatic.

well easiest way to get power out of it is to either A. Turbo that motor, or B. get a 2.3T and swap it in.
