steering ext. regarding a BL
hey whats up guys. so i just did a bl last weekend for my first and last time lol. a few things are left and one is the steering extension. have all you BL guys used it when istalling the lift or can you get by not using it? i know its kinda a slip shaft type thing but idk how much of the shaft is overlapping now. what are your guys expirence. it looks like a pain in the but to do so if i can skip it with no worry then iu will, but if i cant what are some tricks to get that done with a 4L . thanks

Definitely use it you'll put too much stress on the joints. i hope your shafts are disconnected right now
you're supposed to disconnect it before even loosening a body bolt...
its not hard at all. remove the bolt and pull the shafts apart from each other and insert the extension then bolt it together. I've done 3 trucks, all came out fine. yours should be easier, no snow salt over in CA lol (bastard)
