I got an OEM 06' driver side mirror for an ok price, thinking they were teh same all across the board picked up another one on ebay though not oem...

Can someone confirm if this is normal.

The passenger side mirror is a little longer. I am hestante to put these on now because it's going to look kinda goofy with one being an inch longer...

Is the passenger side mirror supposed to be longer or just the fact that it's a TYC brand?

I had to look at this on my truck myself, and the passenger side is indeed longer! I probably would've noticed earlier, but I put the two mirrors on at different times and never had them side by side.

 

Do these look OEM

 

The driver side is OEM ford. Since I couldn't find another oem ford passenger side without spending 70 bucks I got one that was made by TYC on ebay... You honestly can't tell the difference... I honeslty thing the TYC is better made... The glass is actually stronger and doesn't scratch nearly as easily as the ford one.

i need to do this!...are they power mirrors?

 

FYI the power mirros do not just drop in. And the wiring pig tails are differant. Still waiting to get my self a power ford mirror for this mod.

Nope just manual mirrors since my stockers were manual..

There is a how to either on here or on fordrangerforum showing how to splice the old with the new mirrors.

I like these mirrors a lot thought. Look so much nicer! and more viewing area!

Does the Mirror portion look smaller than 06’s, etc ?

I still like the ’03 version, just need to add the directionals.
