You want to stop progress until you find a painter. Let them tell you how far they want it down.

Also, remember, PAINT WILL NOT HIDE OR COVER UP ANYTHING. If you see or feel it stripped down, it will show up 10 times more with glossy paint.

I got some primer & sealer today. For a gallon or primer & a quart of sealer it was like $172 something. No worries guys, I used to work at a body shop & I went & talked to them today & got everything figured out. I'm not taking my truck in until I'm done preping it...

you are going all out with this ranger conversion of yours ain't ya. Just check arround on the paint, I have a guy that is goin g to do the Paint on my 84 for arrond a $1000, he's a friend of mine but he does professional quality work. I've seen a number of hotrods that he's done (including an origonal starsky & hutch torino) and they all look great, can't exactly say I agree with the color choices, but the paint looks GOOD! If you check arround you may be able to find someone in your area.

those will be easy to fill..the black thats on there..thats also paint?

you will wanna take out that back window or just mask it off..

im gunna have to remove all that paint around them areas that will be welded..then we can just shoot some primer right back over it and you will be on your way..
