We need to find a good wheeling spot.

Once we do that, hotels can be booked and etc.

ok guys, unless you really really want to go wheeling i would not recommend it. you can take the risk but breaking many many miles from home sucks.

late winter i plan to be down in the Savanah, Ga / Charleston, Sc Area.

we should call up LMS and talk to management, see if we cant race our trucks! hahahah. but yes. I am definately down for this! Like we can make it a 3-day event. A Tues/Wed/Thu whereas the city shouldnt be all that busy. We can get shirts made etc etc....

We had lower riders at the Orlando meet, they just parked the trucks and rode with some body.

I couldn't do that, that's 400 miles one way, last time I drove that far it took $300 in gas alone. If it was around pigeon forge, smoky mountains I could make it.

I think Lowe's would be the best place for a group. Uwharrie would be great for wheeling theres just nothing else around it to have a meet at.

you have never been actually broke have you? i had that attitude, and broke 5 hours from home, imagine that tow bill.

stuff happens in a hurry. ive broke on numerous occasions around home luckily. to me id rather hang out with the people and have fun. now if i have my tow pig by then i may tow it down, then ill go wheelin.

as for you guys complaining about gas, save your money up.

It's not just the gas, it's the other stuff, like hotel, time away, stuff like that. If it was closer I know I could make it, but it being that far away I "might" be able to make it.

Yeah if you don't mind some more driving, I'll have a apartment on Boone by then but I know a lot of people in Charlotte, I'm sure I can find us a place to crash.

I would be down for Charlotte. Can always have the family come too... They have Paramounts Carowinds themepark. Kinda like sig flags.... They also have a campground at Carowinds... so people who wanna camp can do that... We should do it late summer before school(college and kids) go back....

680 miles for me and I'm gonna do what I can to make it there.

And I'll be in for wheeling too. Like RangerExtreme said "You only live once."

850 miles one way for me to Charlotte. Has anyone thought about the OBX National Park? That could be a fun place too if this were to happen in July / August.

Either way, I will talk to Rachel and see about us coming down.

Yeah Carowinds has a decent camp ground and I am sure the family environment would help ease the spouse into agreeing and making it a "family" vacation not just a meet...lol I am sure we could get a group discount at the park and campground...
