I will be in NC in August sometime. Although not sure when. I will be transferring from the school I am at now and going to school in Charlotte next year so I will be there but I don't think that will be until later August. And I think I will be in San Diego for the whole summer so not sure about making it or not.

 

K, so this thing seems just about ready to be offically made "Official". We are going to need to get a head count, need to see who will bring stuff (soda, chips, etc we'll spread it out evenly), see who will share campgrounds etc etc. Again, I want to get all Northeast (PA/NJ up through Maine) together, meet up with the MD/VA people, and continue down to Lowes Motor Speedway which is where I guess we will all meet? I think we should all invest in cheap CB radio's or something like that.....again.....it may sound like I'm talking out my *** about the meet, but if we are going to do it, we got to do it right, well planned and thought out. Any ideas, any, throw it out there. Idc how rediculous it may be, we might end up doing it haha.

 

Lowes motor speedway sounds like a good meeting point. CB's would be nice, but if everyone dosent want to do that at least thoes lil 2-way radios. You can pick them up cheap now days.

Everyone doesn't have to do the same thing, some people can camp some can stay in a hotel. I understand some people don't like camping, don't want to exclude some people because of that.

 

I know I would want to camp if I came. I wish you could camp right there on the beach, but I don't think you can.

That would be cool too, it's only about 20 min from my house. Save me some gas. lol But OBX is the jam!!

 

I'm up for either as well, I'd like OBX but if more people want the speedway thats cool too. We just need to decide on something that everyone agrees with.

I figured that most people (the Northeast caravan, and the Southeast caravan) could meet up at LMS, all get together....and then go to OBX as a group. But you all just want to meet up at OBX then that is fine. I just thought a caravan pulling up to OBX would be a hell of a lot cooler. It's majority rules, so whatever you all want.

 

Um you know LMS to OBX is like a 6 hour drive?

Easy we choose one campground and people can make reservations if they want to stay there. We get info on some hotels and people can make reservations there. We need to make a decision on where on the Outer Banks we went to stay.

Anyone have any suggestions?
