1986 grill assembly

Hi All,
I picked up a 1986 Ford Ranger as a project truck. I haven't got it started yet but I am also working on making the outside look better. It didn't have a grill so I picked one up at a salvage yard. My problem is the truck is missing a lot of the nylon nuts that help attach and hold the grill in place. I ordered some on Ebay but they were way too small. Has anyone ever replaced those and can you tell me where you got them. Essentially they are a small plastic/nylon piece that snaps into the frame of the truck so that you can put a screw in them and attach the grill. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Not familiar with 1986 specifically

Try this site, they have sizes listed: https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Fo...eners_s/63.htm

This may be what you are describing here: http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/For...S_p/a14754.htm
Fits into 7/32" hole

Click on "View Catalog page" to see other sizes of similar fasteners

Thanks Ron, I tried the following Ford Nylon Nut Fits 1/4 Hole #8 or #10 Screw Size
but they were way too small. I will likely order a size up.

I would whittle myself a wood block/stick that fits the hole and then measure it or go to autoparts or wrecking yard to get that size
