FX4 & XLT Differences

Besides the 16" wheels, what does the FX4 have that the 2011 XLT is missing. I just traded the FX4 for the newer XLT & it seems that the body is lower. Is the suspension different? I want to make the xlt appear as similar as possible to the FX4. I found the 2011 xlt with only 5000 miles & BOUGHT IT RIGHT AWAY. My FX4 had 155k .

Thanks

2011 trucks have lower indexed keys (if 4x4) and smaller rear blocks which is why it is lower.

That's right. It is the difference in the model year that make it lower, not the difference from FX4 to XTL.

Do I need a susp lift & body kit, or just one to get there?

you just need the torsion bar keys and the rear blocks from an older ranger. iirc 06 and older

I guess technically its a suspension lift, even though its stock parts
