Some of the info doesn't match up. In the video it says its a supercharged honda civic motor. However, on the website for the car, it says its the same supercharged 4 cylinder that General Motors uses in the Cobalt SS and the Saturn ION Redline.

Looks like the formula SAE cars we build:

400 lbs, 160+ hp. 0-60 in 3.0s.

Texas A&M won the western competition this year

I can't watch the video (work just recently blocked YouTube) to say for sure, but if it's the Top Gear video the reason is that its the British Atom in the video.

When the company decided to bring it to the States, GM got into it and talked them into putting their engine in it. I remember seeing a video about it and their was some reason they wanted to do, but I can't remember.

Either way, the Atom is a blazin' fast car, looks really damn cool IMO, and it's not unbelievably expensive.

If you look at the options under the build and price, Honda is listed, but you can't select it. And 52K stock, 91,535 fully loaded! That is not reasonable.... For that, I will Buy a 2001 Nissan Skyline GTR R34 V-spec II
