dash and running light problem...

driving down the road last night my dash lights cut off, it made me a bit mad but i figured its just the switch messing up again b/c it had done it before, but when i get home and look i have no running lights at all, headlights, blinkers, reverse lights, and brake lights all work but no running. i dont have a clue and i checked fuses, any ideas to what it could be?

Check fuses again, under the hood and in the cab.

Dash and running lights are on the same fuse.

If you have a trailer connector, they are notorious for getting full of crud and shorting.

When I put a trailor connector on mine to run the line of fire I doused the sockets with di-electric grease cuz I heard the same deal about those crapping out after getting **** stained

Pull out the tail lights and remove the sockets.
Remove the bulbs.
Is there any corrosion on the sockets or is there a bulb that won't come out ?

by "switch" do you mean headlight switch? If so I'd recommend changing it out anyway, they are prone to fail and it's 15 bucks or less for a new one and will take you 2 minutes to change.
