OHC Question...
Can someone put up pictures on OHC instillation. I just don't understand how it is mounted. I' also be grateful if someone that might have a few, would post some pictures showing what the insides of these things look.
I would like to place a 3/16" piece 6061-T6511 aluminum to form a "panel" to install the switches for various light combinations.
Thanks...

...scroll wheel...
All I'm trying to do is to learn, to find out, to be informed, to be educated, or just be told what is between the roof of my truck and the headliner...is that so very much to ask without getting wiseass remarks like "Scroll Down".

I'll tell you how to make it super easy.
Get your preferred OHC and bracket. (they come in Green and Blue screens). Don't forget all the associated wiring that goes with it.
Then, Get a box cutter and go find an exploder (in a junkyard preferably) and rip the current OHC out of it. You won't be needing it. (unless you need some wiring harnesses) Take your handy dandy box cutter and cut from Visor to Visor in a large square.
Now take your new template with you.
Tape that bad boy up there in your truck and CAREFULLY cut that sumbitch. you should have identical holes now. I used a piece of tape on the drill bit so i didn't drill to far in when i made the hole, then dremeled out each hole a bit to make the tabs fit.
now just do your wiring and you'll be good to go.

You have my most humble apologies for the tone of my last post. I won't offer anything in the way of an excuse. Cause there ain't one. Just frustration and stupidity. The damage was done the instant I pressed the send button.
Next time I'll look for what you have put down. I never even saw the link you were referring to.
Forgive my lack of conscience. I have sent this message on the Forum rather than by way of a private message so all can see I have made a mistake and have asked forgiveness.
But you're right...I am pretty stupid at times.
I hope there are no hard feelings.
RazorEdge.
