94 ford ranger fuel guage issues help please

i have a 1994 ford ranger 5 speen with 2.3 4 cylinder the other day my fuel level guage stopped reading right, ive checked all the fuses and wiring what could be the problem? please help me

Its probably the float in the Gas tank. Mine does the same thing, but its to involved to work on it so I just do it by mileage.

It could be a corroded wire connection at the top of the tank.
