The Bama tuner is much easier to install than a V-8. It also adds no weight. The 4.0 SOHC engine is also a very respectable six banger.

Not compared to other 4.0 V6's

Nissan 4.0L 261 hp @ 5600 rpm 281 ft-lbs. @ 4000 rpm
Toyota 4.0L 236 hp @ 5200 rpm 266 ft-lbs. @ 4000 rpm
Ranger 4.0L 207 hp @ 5250 rpm 238 ft-lbs. @ 3000 rpm

Then why all the $$$ to the headers/exhaust you have?

If yours is a 4.0 and you wanna rid them, let me know..

I can't see where you would get more bang for the buck, especially if you have an auto & larger tires. My 91 Perf. tune I just got is flat *** SWEET!

headers and exhuast cost me about $600...and the main reason for buying it was sound and looks

like i said tuners are cool, but I won't hear or see anything except for the $400 missing from my bank account

and to whoever said a V8 add's weight...of course it adds weight, but it will also have potential for triple the horsepower and torque...way worth it in my opinion

if the bama tuner was 150-200 I would probably buy one, but $400 is out of my range for a few extra hp...$400 towards a V8 could buy me alot better stuff

just my opinion
