left turn signal not working
Moved from a PM:
1999 3.0 87k. suddenly left turn signals dont work. fuses good, pulled all four corners and swapped bulbs all good, dont have tilt wheel but checked wires to multifunction plugs none loose, removed multi switch and cleaned sprayed down with electronics cleaner no change. flasher flashes right side only and right blinker works. can't afford to throw parts at it. anyone with a similar problem? any ideas? Thanks.[

It's most likely the multi-function switch, if it effect hazards and turn signals
On the switch there will be a White/blue stripe wire thats the OUT to the all the right side signal bulbs, including dash, turn or hazard both use this same wire to flash the right side bulbs
There is only one 12volt wire in from the flasher and it powers BOTH left and right turn signals, so if left are working then that wire, the flasher and the fuse is OK
So for some reason inside multi-function switch that 12v power is not being passed to the White/blue stripe wire that goes out to the bulbs
Get a volt meter and test if the White/blue stripe wire has "flashing 12v" when right turn or hazards are on
If not then its a multi-function switch problem, or its connector
If White/blue stripe wire does have "flashing 12v" then that wire is broken/cut under the dash somewhere

Did some testing.
With the flashers ON the blue/white and brown/yellow both pulsated on the test light. Only the right side bulbs flashed.
With the right side signal on and right side bulbs flashing the blue/white wire pulsated on the test light.
With the left side signal on the brown/yellow wire did nothing and the blue/white wire produced a buzzing which when connected too long blew the # 21 hazard fuse. I believe the buzz came from the hazard relay.
Ideas?
Thanks
