tool box cooler/speakers?
ite well i gots this idea lol to take my lil plastic tool box, put it in three sections have one lined with cooler stuff the middle boxed off with 2 6x9s and the third for storage. as for the as for the cooler section put a tap on the bottem for when the ice melts the speakers cut a small hole in back run the wires threw the back window and to an amp and just take some plywood to seperate the compartments. what do yall think?

Pretty cool just make sure you seal the speakers off from everything else really well. My friend has a cooler with 4 speakers in it along with a head unit and jetski battery that can be recharged by plugging it into the wall. They are all marine speakers and we take it out on his boat since he doesn't have any sound system.

Good idea if you can afford the storage space loss, I store a small toolbox with essential tools in it along with bungees, shackles, straps, rope, lug wrench, (tray that slides on top wiht a ton of junk fuses, bulbs, bug spray, tie wraps, gloves, hitch *****..) and if I need to throw some beer in there on the weekend it fits perfect(2 24's or 2 18's, no room left........
I have used it as a cooler before though, filled the thing with ice and beer, pretty sick, worked great, drains itself and quinches a lot of peoples thirst.
Don't forget to coat the wood dividers with some polyurethane or something really well so its not soaking up water and I would run wire under the truck and bring up through the bed somewhere instead of the window and an idea might be to put the speakers in the lid so when you open it the are facing the back of the truck and it would give you some more room for the cooler and storage........ Thow some pics up if you do it, those were just some random thoughts.............
