I got some BFG 35" Mud Terrains last week and I have 1 good 33" Goodyear Wrangler MT/R and was wondering if I just mount it on a crappy rim will it be ok on the truck for a day or two if I happen to get a flat. You know just til I can get a new tire.

as long as you put it on the front i think it should be fine

the nice thing about a good mud tire is ridding on the road you really should never get a flat. they are so heavy and thick walled its hard to do. since buying a good mud terrain i have never had an issue.

 

i wouldn't even run it on the front....i would find a junk/semi-junk 35" tire....

 

i just wouldn't put it in the back if you have any traction devices it'll screw it up.

actually, my friend got a flat on his 33" goodyear mtr, i was amazed that something made it through it

 

I am on my 4th sets of Mud Terrain tires and no flats *knocks on wood* I just want it "Just In Case" ya know.

 

the day you take the spare out you're gonna get a flat haha

 

I found a bfg all terrain 35 in the back of tire country so I jacked that and had it mounted! AWESOME find for me and nice saving grace.

Well I got the streetlock rims you know the black steel ones so I would just drive on it if I had too.

it would be bad to run a smaller tire in the rear if you have a ls diff also.

 

yeah you would have to throw it on the front and put a 35 back on the rear. and just make sure not to put it in 4hi..lol oh wait...

yeah just throw it in the back. I have a spare 30" BFG A/T I got for free but I have 31's. its a just in case. Its only going to be on there for a day or two before I'd get a new tire so nothing to worry about. Just put on the front thats all.
