I would say a chip but thats on the expensive side. Intake will give you like 1HP at the most because there are none 4 our 4 cylinders. Exhaust will be good and depends on what kind you get for the actual HP. Chip is the best or put in a V8 lol.

The chip is pretty much a plug and play and you download the tunes.

I have the exact same truck. With these mods I noticed decent gain in power.
1) K&N FIPK 57 series
2) Flowmaster 50 Series Delta
3) Bama Chips X-Cal 2
4) Nitrous. 50 Wet Shot (I only use it on the strip or when I want to pass everyone up)

Sorry timpat92855 I haven't been online in a while. I'm really satisfied with the way the 50 series delta sounds. It doesn't sound ricey and you can't hear it when your at idle. But once you step on it, you can really hear the rumble. I have it exiting before the passenger tire with a 2 into 1 exhaust tip. I hear that the original 40 series sounds louder, but the guys at flowmaster told me that they don't recommend it for a four banger.

I have a 40 series (at least thats what I asked for). Works just fine on mine, and has nice sound now that broke in. People say that flowmasters dont get "broken in" because they are chamber mufflers........if they dont, then why does the tone change? yea, i'd say they do some how get "broken in".
