That is interesting, that's why I kept my stock airbox.

One day I ran seafoam through my truck. After the 15 minute wait time I started my truck up and reved it. I did notice that the stock intake hose was collapsing a lot when I would hit the gas. I have a K&N FIPK but I am unhappy with it because it doesn't seal the hot engine bay air out. https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=51808

I will be switching to an acutal cold air box later.

lol... i scanned it off a piece of paper that was a bad copy of another paper. it looked like crap when i scanned it, so i was afraid it wouldn't be clear enough to read if i cropped it down in size.. so that's why i left it at it's original size, lol.

ok so u can get a bigger intake or better flowing w/e u want to call it...but u still have the same size valves in ur heads....so its only going to let the same ammount air in...

Yes they are the same size vales but now they flow more efficiently thanks to less restriction on the intake side. And they will flow even more efficiently when you remove the restriction on the exhaust side as well.

volant if your gonna take it off roading or through puddles cause the volant has an air box. Thats what I have and it runs wonderfully but if your just gonna keep it on road you might try an AEM brute force
