Just picked up a 94 Ranger Splash 2wd 3.0 5 speed with 235,000 miles on the clock.
Did a compression check and the engine shows to be very healthy yet. Doesnt burn any oil (as far as i can tell) and runs absolutely perfect.
Let me know if you think adding the 1.8 roller rockers would do more damage rather than good. Im thinking the valve springs are pretty sloppy by now and maybe the extra lift might not be good at this point.
What you think? Im going to be ordering the Underdog 4 piece pulley set next week.

what i have always been told with that many miles if nothing is wrong dont mess with it. reason my trucks motor hasnt been touched it has 272k on it and i still drive it like i stole it. i keep the fluids changed and it runs great. so IMO no save your money and just drive the truck then when it goes put a 5.0 in it
