Press the Pin in on the fuel pressure test port on the engine, see if there is gasoline and pressure

If it starts using Quick Start(ether) and then dies you have spark but no fuel

Did you get a Motorcraft fuel pump?
3rd party brands are known to fail within 1st year but under warranty, just a pain to replace it

Do you HEAR the fuel pump run for 2 seconds with key on, its not quiet
Turn key off and on as much as you want and listen

I noticed a gas leak so I traced it and found there was a small section of nylon gas line like 6 inches or so and it was torn up so I clamped it shut and it stopped the leak and I’m gunna replace it so do I need to replace it with nylon or stainless and could that had been the problem?

Yes, that could cause the problem

Fuel lines are 5/16 size, you can get nylon fuel line repair kits if you have enough line to splice back together

Its often better to hit wrecking yard and pick up the whole piece with connectors
