3.0L V6 Flex cylinder identification please

Thanks in advance for any help everybody.

I searched "flex cylinder" before I started a new post, got zero results.

I have:
2002 3L V6 Flex engine.

Check Engine code - misfire cylinder 3

If I am standing in front of truck facing engine. Which cylinder is number 3?
The FF engine is not shown in my Chilton book.

First thing I'll do is put in a new spark plug.
If that doesn't fix the problem, I'll swap the plug wire.

Thanks everyone

Ford 3.0l is the same FF or not.
FF vehicles have a fuel sensor and larger injectors, and of course a computer than can use them.

So #3 is the passenger side rear cylinder

3 6
2 5
1 4
Front

Yes, spark plug is a good place to start.

Before pulling it out I would unhook coil, for a no start, crank engine, then hook up the coil and pull out #3 spark plug.

Make sure spark plug is wet with fuel, that will tell you injector for #3 is working, so two birds with one wrench

New plugs and wires, no change. Gonna buy a NOID light. If the light appears to be firing correctly, then replace the injector, right?
